This place is amazing. It's the quickest bar in the west, I bought a couple of rounds last night, I didn't wait more 10 seconds to be served, and that in a very busy bar . Friendly, lovely atmosphere, nice crowd, and the music is always of a high quality. I can't recommend it enough. Brilliant venue, brilliant staff. Don't listen to all the negative reviews, you aren't charged entry, so expect to pay for drinks. This is how it's always been, it's a pub, not a park. It isn't free. I had a chat with the landlord and he seemed like a lovely guy, but he isn't a charity. We need places like this, we've lost so many of them.
Watched an amazing band on a random Thursday night in Raynes Park. The staff were super friendly, the music was epic (thank you the @GREEDY_KARL band) and I enjoyed a few impromptu beers. Lekker atmosphere full of non-mainstream beautiful people. Rock On!!
Visited the Cavern and boy was I suprised over this little gem. A little venue for cheap drinks (well... I'm norwegian so we pay £10 a pint at our pubs..) and top notch live music at the same time. Rock up at the right times and you get to see some local celebrities, or you get world famous musicians enter the little stage and if you are brave enough have a pint and a chat with them after they are done playing. The host is from what I have heard a legend, and for me that have met him once I can't say anything else than that I'm impressed with the service and kindness this sir showed me. If only I lived a bit closer this pub would deffo become my place to go for a pint.

Fantastic live music pub with so many excellent bands over the years. We always enjoy going here for drinks and gigs in a intimate friendly atmosphere.

This is one of the best music venues in the South of England, if not the whole country. I've been here many times, as an artist as well as a customer. I've enjoyed many superb performances by world class musicians. Depending on the band, sometimes there's a reasonable entry charge, but mostly it's free to get in. Especially on those occasions, it's essential and perfectly reasonable to buy several drinks, because that's the only way that this business can keep operating, Let's support The Cavern, because places like this are sadly now few and far between, and we'll miss them when they're gone.
What a relief to find somewhere so dedicated to live music. The Cavern is a fantastic bar with friendly staff, good beers, and so much live music. Thank you for existing is all I can say. I’m looking forward to my next visit already. (Haven’t tried the food yet so can’t comment!!)
What a little gem of a place this is in Raynes park. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Great live band. Me and the girlfriend will be back for sure. The akita dog was adorable.
